Radisson Suite Oceanfront is currently looking to hire a Front Desk Manager/MOD. The Front Desk Manager/MOD is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Front Desk operation including guest and employee satisfaction, leading weekly front desk meetings, handling guest concerns/issues, maintaining open communication with Housekeeping, F&B, Front Desk and Maintenance departments, knowledge working with the Opera reservation system utilized at the property. Expected to assist the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies and acts a go-to manager in the absence of the GM. Frequent communication throughout the day with the GM, owner and other upper management at the hotel a must. A positive attitude, team mentality and professionalism is required. The Front Desk Manager/MOD will ideally work a mid-shift to provide early evening support to front desk. Weekends a must.
Front Desk Manager/MOD Duties and Responsibilities:
Resolves Guest issues/concerns
Leading Weekly Front Desk Meetings
Monitoring and responding to guest reviews on third party websites
Follows-up with Department Managers and Employees as needed to resolve issues.
Assists in working with vendors and answering their questions while on property.
Stays readily available/approachable for all employees.
Extends professionalism and courtesy to employees at all times.
Leads by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
Computer savvy and able to learn our central reservation program, Opera.
Responsible for all major areas of the hotel in the absence of the GM.
Experience with Excel and Word preferred
