The Radisson Suite Hotel Oceanfront is seeking either a part-time OR full-time capable, experienced, tech-savvy maintenance technician to help manage our hotel facilities. Needing to fill a mid-shift or evening shift until 9pm. You will be responsible for overall maintenance and repairs to the building and its utilities and amenities. Heavy Communication with the Front Desk staff and guest needs. Must be comfortable entering guest rooms and resolving maintenance issues. 

You should also have problem-solving and organizational skills, be proactive and willing to solve problems. General Maintenance knowledge expected. Must be willing to learn on the job as well from Senior maintenance techs. 

Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out a routine inspection of buildings and equipment to identify any developing issues and notify building management/owners
• Perform general maintenance
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms, employee areas and common areas as needed.
• Delivers the brand standard and provides exceptional guest service at all times
• Respond to work orders of non-functioning equipment immediately
• Provides excellent service
• Repair and program hotel electronic lock system
• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma and/or technical/vocational school preferred but not required
• Hotel experience is preferred, but not required
• Requires excellent communication skills, a professional presentation, an ability to work in a team atmosphere, and to make independent decisions
• General knowledge of some technical fields such as carpentry, painting, electrical, etc
• Flexible hours are required. Weekends are required. Searching for Evening availability until 9pm
• Medium work - Exerting in excess of 50 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
