Radisson Suite Oceanfront is currently looking to hire a MOD. The MOD is responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, monitoring rates, open communication with Housekeeping, F&B, Front Desk and Maintenance departments, assisting with group and corporate group sales and knowledge working with the Opera reservation system utilized at the property. Expected to assist the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies and acts a go-to manager in the absence of the GM. Frequent communication throughout the day with the GM, owner and other upper management at the hotel a must. A positive attitude, team mentality and professionalism is required. The MOD will work a mid-shift to provide early evening support to front desk and other departments as needed. 

MOD Duties and Responsibilities :

Assists in monitoring the daily operation of all property departments. 

Works with GM to respond to RFP's and grow new business opportunities.

Follows-up with Department Managers and Employees as needed to resolve issues.

Communicates with the Front Desk to answer questions and assist with Guest needs/concerns.

Assists in working with vendors and answering their questions while on property.

Research items to order and provides information to the GM for the final ordering process and approval from the owner.

Stays readily available/approachable for all employees.

Extends professionalism and courtesy to employees at all times.

Leads by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.

Computer savvy and able to learn our central reservation program, Opera.

Responsible for all major areas of the hotel in the absence of the GM.

Experience with Excel and Word preferred

Organized, Hard Working

Willingness to work with a team mentality

• Prior hotel experience in a supervisory role required
