We are looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems.

 The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing plumbing systems throughout the property as an ongoing effort to reduce the number of work orders and guest issues on a daily basis. 

 Plumber Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and owners’ requirements
• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Responsible for maintaining records of work done, time records and P/M records.
• Update the work order system and inform the Engineering control desk on the status of work done.
• Coordinates with front desk representative and management as necessary to accomplish repairs.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves when encountering leaks in guest rooms.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment when required.
• When required perform basic repairs and troubleshooting like HVAC, electrical components, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and bulbs, and other guest room items.
• Plans, recommends, and carries out an approved program on scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers.
• Communicate each day's activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved hotels communication programs and standards.
• Must be willing to perform other maintenance job duties and work in a team setting with fellow maintenance technicians.

Plumber Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plumber

• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Owns all plumbing tools needed for the job
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength

• Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an Electrical Training program
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice
• Ability to work in confined spaces
