Position: Home Performance Manager

Job Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve a desired outcome.
  • Energy auditing: Previous experience in energy auditing and performing home assessments.
  • Ability to communicate and sell value for improvements recommended.
  • Carpentry experience: Mastery in repairing, framing, and finishing work.
  • Insulation expertise: Proficiency in installing various insulation materials.
  • Air sealing skills: A knack for identifying and sealing air leaks to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Spray foam work: Experience in applying spray foam insulation.

 Responsibilities: As a Home Performance Manager , you will:

  • Conduct assessments and audits of homes to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
  • Communicate and sell energy efficient improvements to clients.
  • Perform outreach with communities and organizations to bring additional work.
  • Manage the installation schedule to ensure work schedule is organized.
  • Communicate with clients on scheduling, customer complaints, and other matters.
  • Manage a team of technicians performing energy retrofits on existing homes.
  • Ensure team is properly trained to perform work that exceeds our quality standards.
  • Ensure team can complete scope of work in timely manner.
  • Manage vehicle fleet and equipment to ensure it is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Manage inventory of materials required for jobs to be completed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and safety protocols.
