We’re seeking a talented Carpenter that is familiar with a variety of trim carpentry techniques. The typical scope of work we do usually involves replacing siding, fixing decks and window casings, and repairing trim work; however, we get requests for other repairs as well. 

Dates of Employment: Position is seasonal; 35+ hours per week; from April through the end of November. Start and end dates can be flexible for eligible candidates. 

Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of trim carpentry experience. You must be able to work independently.

Pay Rate: Pay rate starts at $22-$26/hr. (based on experience) and is overtime eligible. Position is paid weekly as W2.

Carpenter Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders.
• Provide design, planning, layout, and installation assistance.
• Repair and install siding, trim, doors, windows, walls, and other fixtures.
• Evaluate woodwork and materials for quality.
• Use hand tools, machinery, and other types of equipment.
• Follow local construction requirements and health and safety laws.
• Maintain a high level of client service.
• Stand for long periods of time, climb, pull, and move big things.

Carpenter Requirements:

• A high school diploma is required.
• Valid driver's license
• A validated apprenticeship or at least four years of experience as a journey-level carpenter is required. 
• Communication abilities are excellent.
• Physically fit and have great hand-eye coordination.
• Mathematical knowledge
• Have tools and a means of transportation.
• Ability to train and lead an apprentice.
