Canyon Painting, LLC is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Lead Painter to join our dynamic team. This Full-Time position offers 40+ hours per week. As a leading company in the painting industry, we are looking for an individual who brings strong skills and a professional attitude to every project. The Lead Painter will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of aesthetic excellence that Canyon Painting, LLC is known for while leading projects in the Sedona and Verde Valley regions.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, overseeing all aspects of the painting process from planning to execution. This role requires a proactive approach, ensuring that all projects adhere to timelines and quality standards. Joining our team means you will be part of a motivated group of professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage painting projects, ensuring all projects adhere to set timelines.
  • Lead and manage a painting crew, providing direction and supervision to ensure efficiency and quality in every task.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Perform and supervise the preparation and application of paint, varnish, and stains on different surfaces.
  • Assess and select the right tools and materials for each project.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe work environment at all times.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed jobs to guarantee the adherence to Canyon Painting’s standards.
  • Provide training and feedback to team members, helping them develop their skills and ensuring professional growth within the company.
  • Manage project timelines  to keep jobs on pace and resources adequately allocated.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, utilizing both time management and leadership skills to lead the crew efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a painter.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to manage and lead a crew, ensuring productivity and high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions that align with company goals and project requirements.
  • High-level painting skills, including mastery in techniques and knowledge about materials and their application.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to manage work in the Sedona and Verde Valley regions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with team members.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity required to complete manual work and operate necessary tools and machinery.
  • Detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the painting process.
