We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant ~ Treatment Coordinator to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our community. As a Dental Assistant you will be at the heart of our practice, collaborating with skilled experienced dental professionals to ensure our patients receive top-notch care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

From assisting chair side during procedures and helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal dental health.

Days and hours of operation are M - TH from 7:30am to 3:30pm. 

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with dental procedures including all aspects of four-handed dentistry.
  • Infection Control: sterilizing and sanitizing equipment and instruments, breaking down and disinfecting operatories, setting up instrument trays, preparing operatories for the next procedure, restocking room supplies.
  • Assist dental hygienists.
  • Taking excellent care of patients.
  • Taking digital x-rays, intra oral photos and completing digital scans.
  • Medical, dental histories, and patient vital signs updated and recorded.
  • Following the dentist’s instructions.
  • Taking impressions for temporaries and study casts.
  • Maintaining dental equipment, inventory and ordering dental supplies.
  • Entering treatment plans, sequencing and scheduling appointments.

Dental Assistant Requirements:

  • Certificate or Associate's Degree from a recognized dental assisting program.
  • DANB x-ray certification.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Experience with a variety of computer duties. Knowledge with Softdent a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and vocal. Bilingual a plus.
  • Preferably two years of experience as a dental assistant. CAD/CAM experience a plus.
  • Dental instrument knowledge and sterilizing techniques.
  • OSHA and HIPAA compliant.
  • Friendly and professional with a positive attitude.
  • Creative and efficient with problem solving.
