Job Title: Painter


Position Overview and Objectives:

The painter is responsible for executing painting projects with precision and professionalism, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet or exceed client expectations. This role requires a mix of technical painting skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.


Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be required to:

  • Assess and prepare surfaces for painting, selecting appropriate materials and techniques for each project

  • Accurately estimate the quantity of materials needed, optimizing for cost-effectiveness and minimizing waste

  • Adhere to project timelines, updating progress to ensure efficient completion

  • Deliver high-quality painting services, maintaining cleanliness and organization on-site to uphold safety and professionalism

  • Respect client properties, ensuring privacy and property protection during projects

  • Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve desired outcomes, adapting to feedback and project adjustments as necessary

  • Maintain a working knowledge of products, tools, sundries, and processes required to complete work orders

  • Properly document worked shifts within the time-tracking system


Required Knowledge, Experience, Education, and Training:

The skills required for optimal job performance include:

  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on cleint satisfaction

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively

  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the painting industry

Experience & Education required:

  • 2-5 years of professional painting experience, demonstrating a portfolio of completed projects

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
