Entry Level Customer Service Representative

Maplewood Marketing is a business development and consulting firm looking for a customer service representative to join our team in our Hayward office. The customer service representative will drive customer satisfaction by fielding subscription inquiries, addressing pain points with an unparalleled professionalism and will maintain extensive product knowledge while always remembering to put the customer first. The ideal candidate has a mentorship mindset as we continue to build and develop the future generation of our expanding team and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer and client interaction. This master communicator will support the brand mission, collaborate with c level management, and have fun on a daily basis. We firmly believe that a fun energy-filled environment will yield more passion and hard work than a stale and 'stuffy' work lifestyle. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer communications in a customer-facing role
• Consult on customer success - Advise customers on how to successfully leverage the product/service based on their unique needs.
• Maintain working product knowledge - Act as a product expert to ensure information given to customers is accurate, up-to-date and strategic.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years proven experience in supporting client success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
• Passion for delighting customers with above and beyond service
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
• A passion for finding, developing, and supporting other customer service representatives
