Salary Range:  $40000 - $60000 year

Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting a complete lifecycle analysis to contain requirements, activities, and design. Data analysts will develop research and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify opportunities for improvement. 

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions for both internal teams and clients.

Data Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports 
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality 
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems 
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets 
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems 
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs 
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Data Analyst Requirements and Skills: 

  • Proven professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst 
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), and programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) 
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Adept at queries, creating written reports and presenting the information from one’s research and analysis
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data 
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data 
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions 
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information 
  • Ability to work with executives, analysts, and team leaders to process information and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Create reports based on recommendations and findings for internal teams and external clients

Data Analyst Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related field 
  • Strong data analytics experience is a plus 
  • Google Ads, Meta, and various other marketing channel experience preferred 
  • Google Analytics experience preferred 
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics Certifications are preferred 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Proven data analysis and critical thinking skills
