Operations Manager

We have an incredible career opportunity to join an incredible team doing amazing things. We are currently hiring an Operations Manager to oversee our Production and Sales departments.

The Operations Manager supervises and holds accountable the Sales and Production departments, ensuring the two branches are working well together, on the same team and holding them accountable to meeting both goals and deadlines. The person plans, organizes, manages resources, and evaluates performance. 

They monitor sales goals and activity and step in when goals are not met.

They monitor production schedules to ensure that work is completed on time.

We’re looking for somebody to provide leadership over their assigned group by managing the day-to-day operations, including sales performance, production schedules, and assist in staff training.

Operations Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hold sales team accountable to following SOP
  • Hold sales team accountable to weekly activity that meets company goals
  • Audit files to ensure contracts are properly executed
  • Manage inventory, buy materials, and maintain warehouse efficiency
  • Analyze financial data and use it to optimize profitability
  • Enhance operational systems to support the organization
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees
  • Ensure high-quality production of all materials
  • Address clients’ needs throughout the production process
  • Strategize logistics to assure that all needs within the organization are being met for optimal performance
  • Recommend changes to decision-makers within the executive structure when improvements are needed within a policy

Operations Manager Requirements:

  • Alignment with ZCI values
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to hold people accountable and engage in healthy conflict
  • Prior experience in Operations Management in a professional setting
  • Experience managing people and overseeing operations
  • Degree or experience in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of five years experience as an Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager with a large organization
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong understanding of production schedules is required.
