Site Manager Job Description

We are looking for an organized and motivated Site Manager as a reinforcement to our growing team. As a Site Manager, you will be assisting the manager of roofing projects and activities from beginning to end. You will also be responsible for ensuring all projects and activities are performed within timelines. Additionally, you will prepare, maintain, and update construction and project details using photographs and notes in our Customer Relationships Manager.

Your most important responsibility as an Site Manager is to make sure all safety procedures and guidelines are being followed. You will also perform periodic quality control and safety inspections. In order to be successful as a Site Manager, you should have excellent communication, problem-solving, project management, and flexibility skills.

Site Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist Superintendent with all construction projects and activities
• Oversee the field personnel to ensure project completion within schedule and budget
• Schedule construction activities and projects
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment, and make orders when necessary
• Ensure adherence with development, architectural, and engineering plans
• Conduct quality control inspections and performance evaluations
• Conduct safety inspections
• Meet with clients and discuss their requirements and criteria
• Prepare, maintain, and update construction and project reports and other paperwork
• Make sure the construction site has sufficient manpower and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety measures and guidelines

Site Manager Requirements:

• Prior working experience in a construction or roofing field
• Ability to monitor and handle multiple projects
• Strong knowledge of safety and health standards and guidelines
• Excellent communication
• Efficient problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• Ability to climb on a roof
