We are seeking a full-time Treatment Planning Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for our well-established family dental practice in Windom, MN!
Our candidates should be highly motivated, adaptable, resilient, and attentive to detail. While specific dental experience is highly valuable, seasoned front desk staff/dental assistants are encouraged to apply! Hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mon – Thurs
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Fri*
*Hours will be based on need for this specific day
No scheduled weekends/evenings!
Expectations and responsibilities:
- Clearly explains and presents treatment options, related costs, so patients thoroughly understand
- Presents financial options and makes appropriate arrangements for patients to proceed with treatment
- Educates patients on their dental benefits
- Confidently handles objections to proposed treatment
- Schedules patient appointments to maximize efficiency and productivity while being aware of the time needed for the clinical schedule
- Assists with referrals and acts as a liaison between referring doctors and the office to help deliver ideal coordinated care
- Follows up on unscheduled treatment
- Prints out non-covered service agreements daily for patients to sign
- Notify clinical staff of changes in schedules.
- At check-out, is very comfortable and confident at collecting payments for day of service treatment and overdue balances
- Able to perform “close out” procedures at end of day.
- Able to independently run the office in the absence of the Lead
- Adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.

Minimum of 1 year dental experience preferred. However, we are willing to train someone with the right attitude and fit in office culture.
