24th Street Dental Biltmore is a privately owned general and cosmetic dental practice centrally located next to Biltmore Fashion Park. We’re looking for a registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations. This dental hygienist should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities 

• Cleaning accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains of teeth and beneath gum borders 
• Conduct a thorough OCS and strong and confident in diagnosing periodontal disease   
• Making a note of and evaluating patient’s medical history 
• Recording dental decay  and disease for dentists to diagnose and treat them      
• Sharpening and sterilizing dental instruments 
• Working to improve patient oral health while keeping on time as much as possible 
• Strong in co-diagnosing with dentist for treatment     
• Maintaining patient dental hygiene regimen

Dental Hygienist Requirements

• Associate’s degree in hygiene from recognized institution 
• Hygiene license and min 3 years of experience 
• CPR certification is current 
• Must be licensed to give local anesthetics 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Must be well-versed in oral hygiene and dental health topics
• Laser certification and iTero scan experience is a plus

Hours of Operation

• Mon, Wed and Thurs: 8am-5pm
• Tues: 7am-4pm 
• Every second Friday: 8am-2pm

Range of Pay:  DOE 45-50 per hour
