Shop Operations Foreman, Operations 

Reports to: Factory Development Manager



PURPOSE: 

Create a desirable work environment for all employees while motivating your team to continually meet factory and company targets. Ensuring the equipment runs efficiently and safely. Forecast and oversee production workflow, plan and meet production volume without sacrificing quality. Oversee shop personnel and ensure that factory operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct all activities related to production in accordance with Company plan and goals

  • Direct and manage overall production plan for the operation including innovative production schedules and strategies to streamline factory operations

  • Manage and further work processes and procedures to improve production and assign and execute functional responsibilities

  • Oversee factory personnel including initial and ongoing training and development, coaching, work assignments and goals

  • Ensure that all equipment is in and kept in good working order, including needed maintenance

  • Regularly inspect finished products to ensure quality control

  • Collaborate with all departments to determine and purchase all materials, space, and equipment needed for production and anticipation of sales

  • Evaluate performance with production goals and adjust resources and allocations as needed

  • Problem-solve any production issues

  • Collaborate with Factory Development Manager in management of out-sourced factory contractors as needed

  • Collaborate with other departments to produce and maintain production reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience in Business or Industrial Management, logistics, or related field

  • Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment

  • Excellent time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read schematics, drawings, and other work related documents

  • Strong and effective communication skills


Must have a valid Driver’s License and clear motor vehicle report
