Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and energetic Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, great customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Beverages: Craft and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards.

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent service to ensure a positive experience.

• Operate Equipment: Use espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar, seating area, and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

• Stocking & Inventory: Restock supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and notify management of shortages.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth café operations during shifts.

• Upselling: Recommend and upsell menu items, including seasonal specials and merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Previous barista experience is preferred but not required (we’re happy to train the right candidate!).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality beverages.

• A positive attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere.

• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
