Job Description

Castle Family Dentistry, LLC is excited to announce a vacant position for a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Assistant. We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to join our dynamic dental team in providing high-quality dental care to our cherished patients. This is a Full-Time position located in our modern and well-equipped facility. Please note, this is not a remote job.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our dental operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall satisfaction and health of our patients. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist chair side during dental procedures and offer the necessary tools and materials to enhance patient comfort and dentist’s efficiency.
  • Take and record medical and dental histories including vital signs of patients.
  • Expose dental diagnostic x-rays under the direction of the dentist.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment that compliles with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Assist with dental and medical emergencies in accordance with OSHA regulations and office protocols.
  • Maintain CPR certification and ensure readiness to respond to patient emergencies.
  • Assist in the administration of nitrous oxide and other sedatives as instructed.
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
  • Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
  • Clean and polish removable dental appliances with precision.
  • Record treatment information accurately in patient records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Registered Dental Assistant.
  • Current dental assistant license as required by state regulations.
  • Valid Radiology license and experience with dental x-ray equipment.
  • Graduate from an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all dental procedures and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
  • Flexibility to work different schedules including weekends according to office operations.
  • Ability to actively engage and educate patients about their oral health and treatments.
