What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license
- Active auto insurance
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- CPR and First Aid certifications (must be obtained in person)
- A clean criminal background check
- A negative TB test
Preferred Skills:
While not required, experience in dementia care, hospice care, using Hoyer lifts, and performing heavy lifting is a plus.
Your Responsibilities at Cypress:
As a member of the Cypress HomeCare Solutions team, your duties will include:
- Assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing and grooming
- Preparing basic meals
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Reminding clients to take their medications
- Providing transportation and accompanying clients to appointments
- Offering companionship and emotional support
