Essential Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Active auto insurance.
- Proven caregiving experience of at least a year.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid (must be obtained in-person).
- Clean background record.
- A negative result for the TB test.
Preferred, but non-mandatory skills include expertise in dementia care, experience in hospice settings, proficiency in Hoyer transfers, and adeptness in heavy lifting and transfers.
Your Role at Cypress
In your role, you will:
- Provide assistance in daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and toileting.
- Craft and execute meal plans aligning with client tastes.
- Oversee light domestic chores and laundry.
- Aid in medication management and organization.
- Accompany clients to medical visits and daily errands.
- Enrich clients' lives through genuine companionship and meaningful dialogue.
- Monitor and promptly relay any noticeable changes in the client's health to the caregiving team.
