POSITION SUMMARY
The Ultrasound Technologist Supervisor is primarily responsible leading the Ultrasound Technologist through daily supervision and training. The Ultrasound Technologist Supervisor will also provide coverage of the ultrasound sites throughout the week. They will be responsible for the completion of administrative tasks, including annual performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions. The Ultrasound Technologist Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring timecards, approve PTO, and review schedules.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of formal ultrasound technology training which meets requirements for certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Certification in OB/GYN
- Five (5) or more years as an OB/GYN ultrasound technologist
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in a oversight or training role.
- Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions to exchange information with patients, staff, and physician
- Proficient with general operating procedures, i.e. start up procedures, calibration of equipment, troubleshooting and problem solving
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent business English, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Demonstrated leadership, diplomacy, and customer service skills
- Ability to apply continuous quality improvement techniques in service delivery design to improve patient health outcomes
- Highly organized with developed time management skills
- Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment
- Computer efficiency
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Must remain insurable under company insurance due to travel between locations
- Maintain all certifications active and in good standing
- Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status.
