Dental Assistant Requirements:
- Registered Dental Assistant certification.
- Dental x-rays certification.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Sealants certification a plus but not mandatory.
- Dentrix/Dexis experience a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with a variety of computer duties.
- High communication skills, both written and vocal.
- A proven track record as a dental assistant.
- Dental instrument knowledge and sterilizing techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of a dental assisting position. See below:

- Monday 10am- 5pm
- Tuesday 7am-4:30pm

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities summary:
- Take excellent care of patients.
- Seating and preparing patients for dental procedures.
- Able to take quality digital dental x-rays and intra oral photos.
- Chairside assist our doctors.
- Preliminary impressions to create temporary restorations and custom impressions.
- Experienced in the use of an intraoral scanner.
- Pour and trim models.
- Fabricate and cement temporary crowns.
- Sterilizing and sanitizing equipment, setting up instrument trays, preparing supplies, and assisting with dental operations contribute to infection control.
- When necessary, assisting dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
- When necessary, assisting dental hygienists with operations.
- Follow instructions and learn our dental systems.
- Dental equipment maintenance.
- Physical demands include but not limited to sitting for extended periods of time, able to firmly grip dental instruments, occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds and vision abilities to allow for close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
