Job Description

The Front Office Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining efficient business operations, allowing dentists and hygienists to focus on providing top-notch dental care. You will be immersed in a unique healthcare environment, interacting with clinicians and adhering to regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing, data entry, and cash posting.
  • Foster excellent customer service throughout the staff.
  • Implement effective filing and organizational systems.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction, address complaints, and develop improvement strategies.
  • Utilize schedules efficiently, supporting practice revenue objectives.
  • Uphold KamDental’s policies and demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and outstanding patient service.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Health Care Administration preferred. Experience may substitute for education.
  • Experience in basic billing and knowledge of Medicare, and commercial insurance regulations.
  • Proficient in healthcare software (Open Dental).
  • Skills in multitasking, problem-solving, and professional communication.
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement practices.
  • Ability to professionally interact with a diverse range of individuals.
