Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction/Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial buildings and construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, plumbing codes, and working efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and HVAC systems.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality using pressure and leak detection equipment.
  • Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, minimizing downtime on job sites.
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices or helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or construction plumbing.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces or at heights.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
