Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be expected to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems, and more.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing installations or repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, functionality, and efficiency using appropriate tools.
• Provide clear communication and professional service to clients, addressing their concerns and explaining work performed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on jobs.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices or less experienced plumbers as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in plumbing technology and industry best practices.
• Must be willing to participate in the on-call after hours/weekend rotation. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber, with strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
