The Position

We are looking for a tax preparer with at least three years of experience in business and individual tax preparation. 

The candidate will prepare Personal, Business, and Fiduciary tax returns. Performance-Based Bonuses. Opportunity to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accounting or other relevant field required
• 3+ years of Tax experience 
• Proficient with:
• Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Ofice, Tax Software, QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight
• Attention to detail
• Written and oral communication
• Work ethic and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tax returns including Individuals, S Corps (1120-S), C Corps (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Fiduciary
• Accounting and bookkeeping support for a diverse base of clients, including data entry, reconciliations, account clean-up, allocations and adjustments, etc

Work Location: Scottsdale, AZ, Off Shea Blvd, East of 101

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree/Masters in Accounting/Tax a plus!
• CPA/EA or candidate for either a plus
• three recent years of tax season experience
• Experience with Quickbooks Desktop and Online
• Experience with Drake tax software a plus!
• Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight
• Excellent time management skills
• Open to instruction and coaching
• Professionalism: Good written and oral communication skills
• Dependable team player
