About the Role:

A day in the life: Our Commercial Exterior Painting Laborer will have a keen eye for detail and be interested in traveling. As a Commercial Exterior Painting Laborer, you will be responsible for executing painting projects on commercial buildings across various locations. As part of a team, you will travel to various job sites to provide top-notch painting services, such as preparing and painting exterior foundations in accordance with the customer's scope of work within predetermined deadlines.

On a given day, as a Commercial Exterior Painting Laborer, you will:

• Be willing to travel 10–14 days out of state and overnight to perform exterior painting tasks according to project specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Learn specialized skills as required by the foreman and follow instructions to ensure the safety of the entire team.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.
• Prepare the pumps and materials, as well as test equipment and machinery, to ensure they are in working order. 
• Complete caulking and other masonry repairs as needed. 
• Operate aerial lifts to complete elevated work.
• Adhere to company work safety policies. 
• Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned.

Schedule & Travel:

This is a full-time traveling position that will be on the road 95% of the time. This position travels typically 10–14 days at a time. The company covers all travel expenses, lodging, and food after the first meal while traveling.

The qualified candidate we seek is a Commercial Painting Laborer with these QUALIFICATIONS:

• A current and valid driver’s license with auto insurance and a willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• 1-2 years of experience as a commercial painter, with a focus on exterior painting projects. Or a relevant experience is preferred. 
• Proficiency in various painting techniques and knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
