Come join our fun and growing company this summer! We are an event based staffing and service rental company and we are looking for someone who can help us get our back of house organized and running smoothly!

What we are looking for: 

We are very excited as we have just moved to a new facility, and are looking for a Rental Coordinator who can help get our operations running smoothly and ensure the event rentals are prepped, cleaned, and stored appropriately! We (on average) have 1 to 3 events needing rentals a week, you would be responsible for overseeing the whole rental management process!

Position Overview:

The WaitStaff Team, Inc (TWST) is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rental Coordinator at our event staffing and rentals company. The Rental Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the rental management process. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

1. Communicate and oversee with TWST event coordinator all equipment rentals/packages 2 to 4 weeks prior to event date. 

2. Package all equipment rentals/packages the week of event. 

3. Purchase smallwares and event materials if needed on or before day of event. 

4. Clean/wash all rental equipment for storage and for use for future events. 

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. 

6. Ensure and execute the availability and readiness of rental items for delivery and pick-up. 

7. Work with day of event leads to ensure the delivery and pick-up time of equipment for timely and efficient execution. 

8. Assist in the loading, unloading, and set-up of rental items as needed. 

9. Conduct regular inspections of rental items to ensure they are clean, functional, and in good condition. 

10. Stay updated on industry trends and new rental products, making recommendations for additions or enhancements to the rental inventory. 

11. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and organized rental storage area. 

12. Ability to take and drop off or pick up rentals at events if needed 

Qualifications: 

1. Proven experience in a similar event equipment coordination role, preferably in the hospitality or event industry. 

2. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

3. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 

4. Excellent communication skills. 

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude. 

6. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. 

7. Access to your own computer/smartphone/tablet with experience using Microsoft Office. 

8. Capable of learning new computer programs that may be required for future communication and task management within the organization. 

9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 40lbs. 

10. Valid drivers license required.

11.  Access to a midsize/large vehicle preferred for transport of rental equipment with mileage reimbursement.
