WHO WE ARE: 

We are a service and rental company that provides professional back/front of house catering staff and bartenders to help clients with their service needs & rentals for private events! 

We have a unique catering opportunity and are looking for the right catering staff members to join our growing team! We don't make food, we don't provide the drinks, we simply serve what the client has provided and can help with rentals.

WE HAVE 2 MISSIONS / WHY WE EXIST: 

1) To find great employees with awesome attitudes who actually love the service industry, and provide them opportunities to do their best work!

2) To serve great clients that already have food and beverages provided for that does not already come with a service team, and can aid with providing necessary rentals to ensure a successful event!

WHAT DO WE EXACTLY DO?

We essentially are the in-between of the complete DIY and the full service caterers! From set up to tear down, back of house plate up to front of house service, we do how much or how little the clients request and have appropriate staff ratios to handle it!

Are you ready for an experience like no other? Our company was started by catering staff who wanted more opportunities to work private events. We found a niche in the Portland Metro Area for alternative event staffing! We started with the idea of helping clients with small parties where they provided the food/beverages and we could serve the and help set up/clean up so they could enjoy their party without the headaches afterwards. 

We quickly found out that there are many events where food/beverages are provided yet they still needed staff!

EXAMPLES OF WHAT WE SERVE:

Some of the ways food/beverages are provided without staff:

• Food carts: Weddings, graduations, birthdays, corp mixers, block parties, etc
• Restaurant drop offs: Plated / family style / passed apps / buffet service
• Buffet only caterers: They only help with buffet; no one to buss tables
• Grocery / DIY style: Need someone to assemble and do basic cooking
• Client's Home Cooking: Small intimate gatherings where the family just wants to have a nice meal in their home with the nice touch of table-side service!

We have the wonderful opportunity to make customer's dreams come true with our expertise mixed with their specific needs. 

We also believe that you are a professional in our industry and should be treated as such if you have been in the catering industry and know what you are doing!

WHERE WE WORK:

Wherever the events are. Most events are within 30 to 45 minutes of downtown Portland, though we have gone to the Beach, Hood River, Bend, Battleground and further, Eugene, etc. Paid drive time expected with farther locations. Here are a few examples of venue types we have served:

• Wedding venues
• Backyards
• Parks
• Ballrooms
• Warehouses
• Corporate offices
• ETC...

WHEN DO WE WORK:

Whenever the events are. Most events are weekends, however we do have weekday events here and there as well. Start times are firm though end times are subject to adjust with the needs of an event, but we try to plan as best we can to let you know how long the shift is.

TYPES OF SHIFTS:

You let us know what shifts you would like to pick up. We have the following shift types:

• Lead
• Server
• Server w/Alcohol
• Private Party Servers
• Bartender B/W
• Bartender Liquor
• Bar Back
• Cook/Kitchen aid
• Houseman

WHAT DOES THE JOB REQUIRE:

• Oregon Food Handlers
• Ability To Lift A Tray
• Prior experience preferred(will train the right people)
• Accountability to work the shifts you sign up for
• Great Attitude
• Willingness To Learn
• Eager desire to work and serve our clients
• Love what you do! (If you don't actually like serving people, don't apply!)
• Ability for a flexible schedule to pick up shifts (Even though it is a work when/how much you want type of job, we do expect you to actually pick up shifts. 
• Bartenders to have prior liquor bar experience

OPTIONAL PREFFERRED EXTRAS:

• OLCC - Oregon Liquor Service Permit
• MAST - Washington Liquor Service Permit
• Washington Food Handlers
• Multiple Languages

$ $ $  PAY  $ $ $:

Pay varies based on the types of shifts that you pick up. Base pay + gratuity, our starting lowest paid shift is at least $21+ and goes up from there. Further discussion on pay rates in the interview based on experience.
