Business Development Representative

NOTE: This is a remote, work-from-home position but candidates must live in Maryland.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Business Development Representative that is experienced, motivated, and results-driven to join our RallyBright team.   Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will use your communication skills to cultivate a strong rapport with potential customers and set initial meetings with the sales team. 

The ideal candidate is a professional with previous experience self-generating leads from marketing campaigns and list-building tools to meet sales quotas. This position reports to our Sales Manager, supporting them in seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

 About the role:

  • Become one of the first BDRs hired, with an opportunity to quickly become a lead
  • Work closely with CEO, Sales Manager & other departments to strategize an outbound approach
  • Prospect new business leads through a combination of email, cold calls, and social drips
  • Utilize tools to generate prospecting lists related to our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Generate sales-ready meetings using RallyBright’s qualification criteria

Responsibilities:

  • Periodically create prospecting lists using list building tools (i.e., Zoominfo, Apollo.io, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, SalesIntel, LinkedIn SalesNav, ZoomInfo, and Gong)
  • Identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into sales meetings
  • Keeping an accurate and up-to-date log of all prospect interactions within CRM
  • Conduct discussions with prospects over the phone to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Providing call notes, and information to the sales team prior to scheduled meetings

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ years of successful BDR/SDR experience in a SaaS sales role
  • History of overachieving and surpassing targets in past experiences
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal 
  • Experience conducting own lead sourcing through list building tools and CRM (i.e., Zoominfo, Apollo.io, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, SalesIntel, LinkedIn SalesNav, ZoomInfo, and Gong)
  • Ability to make high volume email, cold calls, and social contacts daily
  • Comfortable with startup environments
