Sales Representative / Estimator

Fast-growing full-service commercial and residential painting and decorating company seeks an experienced estimator for primarily residential repaint jobs. Ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and a highly effective communicator.

Qualifications: 

  • 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the home or building care/maintenance industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven
  • Computer proficient with Excel, Google Drive and other cloud-based software
  • Skilled in the areas of multi-tasking, organization, prioritization and time management
  • College degree preferred



Duties and Responsibilities (Sales):

Communication:

  • Maintains regular communication with the sales manager, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business. 

  • Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc.

  • Assures that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.)

  • Maintains open communication with crew leaders and painters, in order to remain knowledgeable of jobs.

  • Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner.

Sales and Estimating Responsibilities:

  • Send Estimate to client (both in home and virtual) within 48 hours of initial appointment. 

  • Returns incoming phone calls and virtual estimates in a professional manner and within 8 business hours of call or request

  • Provides product differentiation to customers throughout the selling process (assists customers in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product.)

  • Effectively sells the company’s services to the customer in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the customers’ needs and selling to satisfy those needs. 

  • Helps jobs stay “happy and under.” 

  • Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on all open bids.  Get closure  (“yes” or a “no”) on all bids.

  • Strive to target and market the most profitable jobs

  • Prioritizes work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals

  • Maintain sales closing rate of at least 40%  

  • Develops a well thought out prospecting plan focusing on generating leads for the company. 

  • Participates in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote the company.

  • Achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits.

  • Visit active Job Sites for client and employee engagement

  • Report any quality concerns to the Crew Leader and Operations Manager 

  • Help protect the brand/ make sure yard signs are put out/paint cans being wrapped.

  • Must be able to work from 7:00/9:00 to 4:00/6:00 pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays/Sundays

  • Have a clear understanding of preparation procedures (i.e. sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.) according to the All-IN Painting Standards & Procedures

  • Deal with customers’ questions and concerns on call backs or as assigned by Operations manager 

  • Be reliable, present good work ethic, high integrity and drug free

  • A clean, presentable appearance is always expected. Maintain dress code according to the standards that All-IN Painting requires. ALL IN Painting branded shirts, hats and other articles of clothing.

  • Explain the scope of work and initial walk around with the client and crew. 

  • Provide an accurate Final Invoice for client

Management Team Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates positive leadership through all actions with all employees.

  • Attends all meetings on time.

  • Works the necessary hours per week in order to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner

  • Assists in the development and implementation of new systems, helping to maintain and increase the company’s profitability and organization as it changes and grows.

  • Assists in problem solving and implementing solutions.

  • Participates in planning company growth and development and supports company mission by following through on initiatives.

Salary: Varies based on experience
