Bookkeeper

122 S Park Blvd Greenwood, IN 46143 • Accounting • Administrative • Part-Time

Salary Range:  $18 - $25 hour

Basic Function: to assist CFO, CEO and COO with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly record keeping tasks and financials preparations. Will uphold the All IN Painting Mission Statement and Core Values.

Organizational Relationships: 

  • Reports to: CFO


Scope of Responsibility:  The Bookkeeper maintains the books, using QuickBooks Online and the company's invoicing systems for a variety of record keeping tasks. This position works directly with the CFO and company’s CPA. The ability to track and report organized information is essential. The Bookkeeper must be a collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and trustworthy character for both company and employee sensitive information. The successful candidate will possess detail-oriented skills and data entry experience.

Specialized Knowledge and Experience: Must have computer knowledge and proficiency including Microsoft Office products, and Google Sheets; QuickBooks Online training required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required. Strong written, English and verbal communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor Banking and Loan Accounts
  • Work closely with CPA
  • Prepare Financial Reports for CPA/Executives
  • PAYROLL + reports
  • Pulse Report and Bi-Weekly Pulse Report Meeting
  • Matching QuickBooks Online to bank register
  • Tracking/Recording Company’s Receipts
  • Month End checklist and Reconciliation Tasks
  • Record mobile deposits into QuickBooks Online and Google Worksheet
  • Enter Client Invoices into QuickBooks Online 
  • Updating Current Employee Database
  • Pay increases/decreases
  • Time Entry Adjustments for employees
  • Bank Distributions and Transfers
  • Workman's Comp Audits
  • IRS audits
  • Missing Receipts/Notifying Staff
  • Categorizing Expenses
  • Outgoing Check Register
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Providing CFO with Expense Reports
  • Reconcile Bank/Loan Accounts at Month End
  • Monthly Manual Payables
  • Financial Statements upload to CPA Portal
  • Additional Record Keeping needs of Executives/Employees          

Schedule:

  • Starting early Summer 2022
  • Part-Time, 10-25 hours per week, based on seasonality of work. (Anticipation of growing hours for position as company grows.)
  • Flexible working hours/location
