PMV Custom Finishes (Portage, MI), an established and growing painting contracting company is now accepting applications for a consistent customer-oriented and organized individual to join our team.  You will be working with an involved owner and will feel comfortable with our small, supportive management team, and group of great employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reception

  • Handle all phone responsibilities, including voicemail management and answering, routing incoming calls
  • Scheduling appointments for our Estimators with clients
  • Ask initial questions to discover how we can best serve prospective clients
  • Greet and assist all visitors, vendors, and callers with warmth and PMV values

Office Administration and Coordination

  • General office organization, such as filing, using & maintaining computer software, customer information, business documents, etc.
  • Keep up-to-date records and schedules for vehicle maintenance, insurance renewals, annual memberships
  • Maintain a clean and professional workplace and entryway
  • Inventory and order office supplies, and coordinate repairs with facility maintenance companies
  • Assist with special projects like, ordering lunch, running errands, planning events
  • Provide light filing and data-entry support with general bookkeeping tasks

HR Support

  • Maintain personnel files, benefits, schedules, requests for time off, etc.
  • Send company announcements and communications to staff

Operations Support

  • Assist with ordering painting supplies
  • Manage and record project expense receipts
  • Setting up new customers and jobs
  • Arranging and scheduling supply and equipment needs for jobs
  • Assist with gathering all necessary information needed to complete jobs
  • Provide administrative support to Leadership team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Experience with MS Office suite, filing, data entry, phone skills with clients, and calendar scheduling highly desired
  • Comfortable and willing to use current cloud-based computer and phone technology
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks
  • Current driver’s license and insurability

SCHEDULE:

  • 8:00 - 5:00 Monday-Friday
  • Working from our office in Portage, MI

COMPENSATION:

  • $38,000 - $40,000 starting annual salary
  • Employee health insurance, 50% paid by company
  • Health reimbursement account
