We are looking for waterproofing service technicians who are able to determine service needs and perform daily operational duties. The waterproofing specialist technician is responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatment and assist in waterproofing application and works.

Employees must be able to interact and communicate well with clients in their homes and businesses. Ideal candidates will understand operational procedures and identify various leakage problems.

Responsibilities – Waterproofing Specialist (Field Operations)

  • Install waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practices.
  • Manage waterproofing application and works with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating products.
  • Regularly monitor and maintain waterproofing equipment to ensure it remains in working order.
  • Perform integrity testing and troubleshooting testing to identify any breeches or defects in the project’s existing waterproofing membrane/coatings.
  • Perform visual inspections on projects.
  • Exercise professional advice to clients when required.

Other Duties

  • Ensure all tools, supplies, and equipment are in working order and arrange for replacements as necessary.
  • Adhere to all California occupational health and safety practices and procedures including company IIPP.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including building, trade, fire, and construction codes, as well as company policies.

Position Requirements – Formal Education and Certification

  • Education is required. A diploma or degree in building, civil/structural engineering, or construction-related fields will be advantageous.
  • Completion of an approved apprenticeship program that includes both theoretical and practical components of construction will also be considered.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience required and additional training will be provided. 
  • Strong understanding of waterproofing, and coatings material.


Working Conditions

  • Occasionally work indoors in an office setting.
  • Required to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
  • May occasionally come in contact with unpleasant or hazardous materials.
  • Always applying safety procedures when working.

  • High degree of physical fitness and endurance to complete physical aspects of the job, including the ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs.
  •  Customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights and non-standard hours as required.
  • Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.
