VP of Marketing

Quiver Quantitative is a VC-backed FinTech startup making next-generation trading data accessible to everyone.

Since launching in February of 2020, we have grown to over 300,000 registered users and been featured on platforms such as CNN, Bloomberg, Vice, and the Washington Post. We are now looking to expand our small team to continue fueling our rapid growth.

Quiver scrapes alternative stock data from across the internet and aggregates it in an easy-to-use web dashboard designed for non-professional investors. This allows retail investors to tap into the power of big data, and access the same resources that are increasingly being used to drive investment decisions on Wall Street.

We are seeking a VP of Marketing, to lead our efforts to introduce retail investors to alternative data and the Quiver platform. In this role, you will oversee the production and delivery of engaging content across a variety of social media channels, as well as through the Quiver newsletter. You will also be responsible for the management of Quiver’s paid advertising campaigns, and effectively allocating the company’s marketing budget.

Main Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2C marketing experience, with prior experience in the finance services or data industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience in building and overseeing paid advertising campaigns, and making high-level decisions on budget allocation. A deep understanding of conversion and marketing KPI tracking.
  • A strong track record of driving growth at scale through content marketing and social media channels.
  • Experience at relationship-building with external partners, and sourcing and negotiating new partnership agreements.
  • Existing deep relationships in the financial news or retail investing industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in technical and non-technical conversations.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with our content team to set the direction and guidelines for Quiver’s social media strategy, and assist in the sourcing and management of partnerships with external creators.
  • Play a key role in finding and developing strategic partnerships with other enterprises, and managing relationships with these external partners.
  • Manage, track, and report on the success of Quiver’s paid advertising campaigns, and oversee the efficient deployment of Quiver’s marketing budget.
  • Improve Quiver’s SEO strategy, and implement new measures to attract more new users through web searches.
  • Build Quiver’s marketing department, and recruit, vet, and onboard new employees to the team.
