As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing control systems for our Industrial AI software platform, the Altitude OS. You'll collaborate with a team of seasoned engineers and experts from top companies and institutions such as Waymo, Google, Bain, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, McGill, BYU, and leading robotics startups.
Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to ensure seamless operation of automated systems.
- Develop and optimize ladder logic diagrams to control machinery and processes efficiently.
- Architect and implement control systems to enable precise and reliable automation in various industrial environments.
- Design user-friendly HMI systems for operators to interact with the automated workstations effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience in PLC programming and ladder logic is essential, with a strong understanding of industrial automation systems
- Proficiency in control system design and implementation, with experience in integrating complex systems.
- Robotics experience is a plus, but not required, as you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experts in the field.
