In this finance & accounting internship, you'll be working hand in hand with the COO on a variety of projects. It’s a great opportunity to learn and work cross-functionally with business professionals and roboticists from Waymo, Google, Bain, BYU, Princeton, Harvard, and top robotics startups.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing support to the finance team.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
- Help in auditing financial documents and procedures, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Engage in special projects, including financial modeling and analysis for new business initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
- Utilize financial software to create reports and conduct data analysis.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a passion for finance and accounting.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented startup environment.
- Demonstrated interest in technology and innovation, especially in AI and machine learning, is a plus.
