Project Architect

Salary Range:  $60000 - $90000 year

Globeateliê is in search of a full-time associate to work in our Columbus office, supporting he development of brand environments in the position of Project Architect. Candidate should have at least 6-8 years’ experience in a US architectural firm.


Location:  Columbus OH  (Remote position will be considered for candidates in Eastern Standard time zone only)

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage internal project teams and schedules on individual projects and/or larger programs and initiatives
  • Lead projects through all phases, with a focus on Design Development, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration
  • Research regulatory requirements and perform project due diligence
  • Develop designs to scale through various software applications, hand sketching, and materials research
  • Develop and coordinate technical details and provide technical guidance to junior staff
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with clients
  • Coordinate with internal and external consultants and production team members
  • Opportunities for growth in program management, project management, and design

 

Required Skills:

  • Architectural license; candidate currently pursuing architectural licensure through NCARB will be considered
  • Broad understanding of construction and architectural detailing, ability to translate design intent to technical detailing and documentation
  • At least 6-8 years’ experience in an architectural firm
  • Proficiency in Autocad
  • Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building and accessibility codes
  • Retail and/or restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in project management preferred
