Sr. Project Designer

Salary Range:  $60000 - $90000 year

Globeateliê is in search of a full-time associate to support the development of brand environments for national and global clients in the position of Senior Project Designer. Candidate should have at least ten years’ experience in an architectural firm, interior design firm, or similar setting.


Location:  Columbus OH  (Remote position will be considered for candidates in Eastern time zone) 

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage internal project teams and schedules on individual projects and/or larger programs and initiatives
  • Lead projects through all phases, from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Contract Administration
  • Develop designs to scale through various software applications, hand sketching, and materials research
  • Research regulatory requirements and perform code due diligence
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with clients, participate in and/or lead design presentations and project discussions
  • Coordinate with internal and external consultants and production team members
  • Opportunities for growth in program management, project management, and design

 

Required Skills:

  • Broad understanding of construction and architectural detailing
  • At least ten years’ experience in an architectural firm, interior design firm, or similar setting
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, and Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and other project management/production software
  • Architectural license, or interest in pursuing architectural license through NCARB
  • Code research and permitting due diligence experience preferred
  • Retail and/or restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in project management preferred
  • Strong design ability preferred
