Arrowhead Ranch Dentistry, a well-established private practice, is excited to offer a new opportunity for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. Located in the scenic area of Glendale, AZ, our practice prides itself on delivering top-notch dental care to our community. This position is in-office, ensuring a hands-on approach to patient care and team collaboration.

As a Dental Assistant at our facility, you will play a crucial role in patient satisfaction and the efficient functioning of our practice. We are seeking an experienced, outgoing, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be a 'people person' with excellent communication skills, a positive work ethic, and the ability to manage details meticulously.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various treatment procedures.
  • Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments under the guidance of the dentist.
  • Record and update patient health histories and documentation as required.
  • Support patient comfort in the dental chair, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Educate patients on maintaining oral health and scheduling regular check-ups.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all treatment rooms and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a smooth, efficient, and professional clinic environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills and a positive, friendly demeanor.
  • Detailed-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong team player with the willingness to collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
  • Experience in EagleSoft is considered a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, able to work 4 1/2 days per week, including early mornings.
