1. Present and discuss fees with patients for optimum dental care
2. Excellent patient and/people skills
3. Answer phones and schedule patients appropriate
4. Firm understanding of dental plans and insurance claims 
5. Experience with patient financing is helpful 
6. Ability to multitask is crucial to being successful
