Salary Range:  $25000 - $40000 year

DataTek is looking for a Level 1 - IT Support Technician to provide full IT support for our customers while providing high-quality customer service. The Level 1 - IT Support Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, identifying, and investigating technical issues while providing resolutions to user questions and problems. The Level 1 - IT Support Technician will need to diagnose issues and provide solutions for our clients while building strong relationships and helping to retain our customers. The ideal Level 1 - IT Support Technician candidate is someone who is looking to advance their career in IT and is proficient in both their technical and customer support abilities so we can provide a great customer experience.

Level 1 - IT Support Technician Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide a superior customer experience by communicating in a positive, friendly, and empathetic manner
  • Possess the technical expertise required to effectively communicate and troubleshoot product issues
  • Identify, investigate, and provide solutions to client questions and concerns
  • Make follow-up calls to customers as needed
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and maximize the opportunity to build strong customer relationships

Level 1 - IT Support Technician Requirements

  • 1–3 years of technical support experience
  • In-office position
  • Must be located in the East Valley and able to travel within that area
  • Must have a reliable method of transportation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
