What you will do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Data Entry: Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems and databases
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing invoices, managing payments to vendors, and tracking payments
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy
  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Updating and maintaining the general ledger with accurate financial information 
  • Auditing Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
  • Compliance: Ensuring all financial activities adhere to company policies and accounting principles 
  • Other Duties: May include, but not limited to answering phones, filing documents, and providing general administrative support.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
