Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded Director of Capital Raising to join our vertically integrated real estate investment platform. This individual will lead the capital-raising process and develop strategies to secure investment capital from institutional investors, family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), pension funds, endowments, and other equity sources. With a focus on multifamily, mixed-use development, and value-add investment strategies, this position will play a critical role in shaping and executing our firm’s ambitious capital markets initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising and Investor Relations:
Lead efforts to raise equity capital for real estate funds, programmatic joint ventures, and other investment vehicles.
Develop and implement investor relations policies and procedures to ensure high-quality engagement and communication with investors.
Identify and cultivate relationships with UHNWIs, family offices, pension funds, endowments, institutional investors, and other capital sources.
Create and present marketing materials, confidential information memoranda, and investor presentations.
Coordinate investor meetings, fundraising roadshows, and annual investor meetings to showcase strategy and performance.
Maintain an up-to-date database of investor relationships, leveraging the firm's existing network while expanding its investor base.
Strategy and Analysis:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align capital-raising strategies with the company’s investment vision.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and adapt investment strategies accordingly.
Work closely with the Acquisitions and Development teams on underwriting, financial modeling, and structuring investment opportunities.
Transaction Execution:
Assist with project financing, including securing new loans and refinancing existing assets.
Negotiate and structure complex equity and debt transactions.
Conduct due diligence to ensure sound investment decisions.
Marketing and Branding:
Oversee marketing efforts to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility in the capital markets.
Assist in promoting the corporate brand through website content, press releases, and other outreach efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in real estate capital raising, investor relations, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in securing capital from diverse investor types.
Skills: Exceptional communication, financial acumen, and organizational skills, with proficiency in creating compelling pitches and presentations.
Relationships: Existing connections within the investor community, particularly with UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of multifamily, mixed-use development, and value-add investment strategies.
