Our complexity, growth and strategic objectives are quickly elevating our demand for an exceptional, experienced, driven, high-performance Digital/Internet Marketing, Communications, Media and Public Relations Expert to partner with on our mission to succeed.
This role will have an impact across all areas of digital marketing strategy and deliverables, with a focus on all forms of Media, PR, Communications, PPC, SEO, Design, Writing Content Creation, News Wire Management, and Social Media. The right candidate will be a blend of curating exceptional marketing material, high engagement, massive content and robust distribution. We already employ graphic design talent so keep that in mind as its not a necessary requirement.
Summary of duties and responsibilities: The right individual will lead the brainstorming and direct oversight of the development, implementation, maintenance and strategic expansion of the platform’s digital program per brand. The ideal digital program effort increases reach, exposure, engagement and loyalty while presenting and implementing revenue-driving opportunities for existing and future distribution channels. Additionally, this individual supports the daily oversight of in-house Consumer PR initiatives or any led by a contracted/outsourced efforts by brainstorming, reviewing, and tracking consumer public relations strategies including independent contractors/agencies and PR Newswire resulting in increased consumer brand awareness of the Platforms brands. Creates and/or edits, and disburses required reports, brand stories, product releases, press releases, and other key material/communication. The ability to create emotionally connected branding and marketing hype is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Development
- Develop, drive and continuously improve a comprehensive digital strategy that effectively promotes our platform brands across selected channels.
- Influence and provide daily strategic oversight of public relations strategy that effectively promotes our platform brands across selected channels.
- Monitor all existing channels to promptly, tactfully and accurately engage with users and influencers to promote connectivity, community, brand loyalty and sales opportunities.
- Design and drive social media campaigns (product shoots, posts, videos, livestream, hashtags) that support traffic and sales growth (pre-collaboration with key players).
- Recommend expansion or exclusion of digital channels as per key generational demographics, trends/demand.
- Recommend success tools needed (pay to play, market research, product trials, giveaways, co-branding, campaigns, etc).
- Develop, drive and optimize a digital media outreach/exposure program featuring pre-selected existing and new business partners to mutually enhance reputation, awareness, engagement and reach (pre-collaboration with marketing team).
- Monitor, edit, upload and reply to reviews and strategically utilize best ones across the digital strategy.
- Ability to properly address concerns or conflicts voiced on the internet.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation and executional excellence.
Content Development
- Drive influencer program to include curating content and increasing engagement and shared content.
- Develop innovative content that engages professionals, consumers and influencers.
- Develop, create content and drive brand awareness, creative white papers, b2b newsfeed, etc., to engage and grow users.
- Curate emarkerting calendar promotional content based on trends, holidays, key words and other best practice and historical open, click thru, conversion and sales data.
- Curate content for blog and library as well as collaborate on key word and trend inspired website content per brand. Optimize internal sources and research and recruit suitable blogger/library contributors for submissions in line with brand synergy in order to ensure ongoing unique content to increase SEO.
Consumer Public Relations
- Drive the writing of corporate event, influencer and social related press releases.
- Perform editing of initial drafts of consumer releases for final edit/approval. Provides final approved release to agency for media push and saves to PR file on server.
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill PR Agency consumer media product/interview requests as well as influencer and digital related requests in order to adhere to deadlines.
- Maintain consistent relationships with all internal/external groups to maximize exposure opportunities.
- Keep consumer-related PR files updated and organized.
- Relationships
- Connect with Executives, Key Players, Employees and Accounts per brand to activate and empower the digital strategy and vision.
- Connect and collaborate with external resources to optimize all exposure obtained pre and post initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to execute a powerful and effective plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, especially vloggers, bloggers, non-profits and non-compete brands with synergy for potential cross-branding opportunities.
Metrics & Reporting
- Monitor social media platforms and utilize Sprout Social (or other preferred social monitoring program).
- Define metrics and performance indicators to measure the success and impact of our social media efforts.
- Use research and data to guide our strategy and maximize our social media investment.
- Provide monthly update reports per brand/channel to Marketing & PR Coordinator for inclusion in monthly PR Reports to Executives and Key Players.
- Ensure that all brands are keeping pace with the latest social media trends, and that we are evolving with emerging technologies.
- Implement best practices to continue to build social media and digital marketing capabilities.
Meetings
- Prepare to drive/discuss key strategies/campaigns during weekly team meetings
