JOB DESCRIPTION – Porter
Position: Porter
Department: LVL – Luxury Living
Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: The Reef Apartments, 2753 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintains and cleans both interior and exterior of apartments and assigned common areas
- Performs general maintenance duties which can include, but not limited to replacing light bulbs, picking-up debris, caulking, and other general repair and preservation duties
- reports needed repairs and/or maintenance to the maintenance supervisor to help keep the community up to Company and regulated standards
- reports needed repair and/or maintenance to the maintenance supervisor
- Keeps current on communication received from management on company policies and regulatory compliance, and performs duties based on those requirements; assists in non-routine maintenance activities as requested by immediate supervisor
- Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Six months experience performing work that requires constant physical activity. Ability to read and understand written instructions and complete standard paperwork. Able to work in moderately difficult environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior make ready work at a residential property
