Defined Role: This high visibility role will focus primarily on branding, awareness, social media, and lead generation for a group of operating companies and multifamily properties. This position supports our Vice President with directing the design, planning, and execution of our marketing strategies across multiple verticals.

 Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and effectuating unique and memorable brands across multiple properties.
  • Working with property managers and leasing agents to understand property business goals and needs and translating those needs into marketing solutions that maintain or increase budgeted occupancy levels and rates.
  • Evaluating and partnering with property teams to reduce the friction in submitting leads, touring the properties, signing the lease, and moving into the property.
  • Building and executing marketing programs that drive awareness of and prospective resident leads to the property.
  • Working with team members and third-party vendors to build and deploy digital, print, and environmental signage and collateral for properties while keeping projects on time and budget.
  • Managing internal approval process for all visuals and collateral to receive appropriate sign-off.
  • Maintain meticulous marketing plans and timelines to ensure execution of marketing on schedule and within budget.
  • Build and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness of multifamily properties across a wide variety of channels, including:
    1. Internet Listing Services
    2. Paid search
    3. Company and partner websites
    4. Social media
    5. OOH/ Billboards / Signage / Brochures
    6. Public/community relations
    7. Email marketing
    8. Content marketing
    9. Paid advertisements
    10. Real estate agents and locaters
  • Build and execute marketing strategies/campaigns that drive leads that convert to tours and leases.
  • Work with development, property management, and technology partners to ensure that unit types, floorplans, amenities, and rentable items are properly represented within our marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to improve retention of current residents in properties.
  • Manage and collaborate with third-party vendors, sign and print production companies, agencies, and digital marketing software sales and implementation teams to support multifamily marketing efforts.
  • Track and report on marketing results to ensure continual improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of marketing programs and spend.
  • Ensure that the property websites are engaging, easy to use and information is current.
  • Build and maintain a library of property photography that is current, relevant, and appealing.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans that drive the successful launch and lease-up of new properties.
  • Test and make recommendations on new technologies that may improve the marketing team's effectiveness or improve property results.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the property CRM and reporting tools and utilize these tools to track and improve results, including lead tracking, direct sourcing, and ROI metrics.
  • Coordinate with properties in the development and execution of resident communications via signage, email, text message, and other channels.
  • Build and deploy marketing that drives rentals of property space for parking, storage, private events, and other purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of Real Estate Marketing Experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing or a related field of study
  • Experience with developing and building a portfolio of brands.
  • Top-tier creative orientation with outstanding writing and art direction skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, including paid search, SEO, social media, and websites.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including ability to write, pitch and present compelling content
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, analytical talent and attention to detail
  • Experience and passion for real estate is a must
  • Proven track record for developing and implementing successful outreach strategies
  • Ability to develop and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with clients, residents, vendors and/or any other representative of external organizations
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills 
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a team player
