Position/Role Summary: AmRoc Premier Capital, LLC is seeking bright and highly motivated applicants for an Internship position to support capital markets and securities distribution, fund management and investor relations, investment management, marketing and operations within the firm. The intern must display utmost professionalism as well as superior communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), as the position involves significant exposure to the firm’s senior executive team and investors, co-investors, partners and stakeholders. A successful candidate will have a strong interest in real estate investment management, real estate investment banking and/or real estate private equity. The candidate will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to the firm's senior executive team, along with significant growth potential as responsibilities increase over time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primarily work alongside the senior executive team to coordinate and execute the following:
- Support all aspects of distribution, including creating target investor lists, tracking activity, managing CRM, preparing for update calls/meetings, conducting pre-meeting research, etc
- Proactively maintain and monitor investor database
- Manage and review marketing materials such as Fact Sheets/Tear Sheets, Slide Decks, Offering Memorandums and Subscription Documents for investors, co-investors, partners and stakeholders
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses for firm’s senior executive team and investors, co-investors, partners and stakeholders
- Respond to ad hoc investor and client requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage and monitor due diligence data rooms and questionnaires
- Research the real estate private equity industry, including trends, funds, managers and investors
- Coordinate and confirm appointments/calls/meetings with potential investors, co-investors, partners and stakeholders
- Schedule and prepare materials/reports for weekly team/investor calls
- Provide general administrative support
- Ad hoc research/analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year accredited university undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Real Estate, Communication, Marketing or related discipline; graduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Communication, Marketing or related discipline a plus
- Fundamental knowledge and understanding of finance (knowledge and understanding of real, private equity, investment banking and/or alternative investments a plus)
- Some experience in capital markets, investment banking, finance, real estate, private equity, alternative investments and/or investor relations preferred but not required
- Strong ability to understand key financial terms in real estate and private equity
- Strong desire to learn about new markets, investment products and industry trends
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication and relationship building skills with the ability to convey company strategy and messaging
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to simultaneously maintain efficiency
- Must be well organized and able to handle changing priorities
- Must have a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong work ethic and self-starter capable of working autonomously in a lean group and accomplishing complicated tasks with little-no supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under strict deadlines in a team-based environment
- Ability to work on an as needed basis outside of standard business hours
- Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
