Position: Staff Accountant

Department:  The Klotz Group of Companies

Reporting to:   CFO

Location:   Atlantic Beach, FL/Jacksonville, FL

The position:

Staff Accountant - Prepares consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments. Maintains and balances various efforts by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data. Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts. Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Financial Analysis and Reporting with strict deadlines, Budgeting, and Ad hoc reporting.  Work with external auditors and comply with requests.   Handle specific HR duties, recruiting responsibilities and payroll processing.

Prefer experience with a property management ERP system such as Rent Manager or Yardi, 1-3 years of accounting experience and excel and other microsoft office programs.
