Piroshky Piroshky, a PNW based company serving original recipes and handmade products for close to 30 years; our doors first opened in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market in 1992, offering a unique food experience to both locals and travelers alike. We prize the special connection we have with our customers who visit us time and time again. 

Our flagship bakery is seeking a seasonal baker (running through September ) to join our highly skilled production team. This position has potential to become a permanent full-time position at the end of the summer.

Our Pike Place bakers create various pastries on site, measuring, proofing and baking through out the day, ensuring Piroshky fans enjoy the wonderful pastries they have come to love. Our highly skilled bakers produce, on average, 200-250 hand made pastries per hour on two ovens. Individuals with experience in high volume fast paced kitchens and bakeries are given special consideration.

This position sometimes integrates some FOH responsibilities that include restocking pastry shelves and customer service.

Ideal candidates:

• Have at least 2 years of professional commercial baking experience working with a variety of doughs ( highly considered but we will train the right person )
• Have weekend availability
• Possess stamina and awareness to work in a small space with several coworkers
• Ability to assess production needs according to demand

We will only consider candidates with professional  baking experience.

Compensation: Base pay: $25.00/hr. Tips add an additional $5.00 to $8.00/hr on average
